ROCKWALL – Rockwall Police are asking members of the community on the Rockwall Police Department Facebook page to help raise $5,000 right away to pay for the funeral expenses for three-year-old Scarlet Kay “Charlie” Minhinnett, who died June 2 after a TV set fell on her, as The Rockwall News reported last week.
Police have set up an online fundraising page for her at youcaring.com. The beneficiaries are her parents, James Allen Minhinnett III & wife, Samantha, of Rockwall and her mother, Colten Lamer, of Paris, TX.
As of 11 am this morning, $1,430 had been raised on the site.
